      Yes, just clean it.

Make sure the sear plunger and assembly are straight. If there is a bend in the assembly, you can get sticking.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I do not recommend WD-40 as it dries up and leaves a residue. WD-40 is a short-term lubricant. 3-in-1 oil is designed for long-term use, as is Hoppes #9.

          None of the above.

Use rubbing alcohol to clean off the brass residue that builds on the plunger. Also a q-tip with rubbing alcohol on it to clean out the solenoid bore.

You should check for plunger drag by having everything put together on the gun except the mainbody. Push down on the back side of the sear (where the on/off pin pushes) and then let go. The plunger should drop all the way into the solenoid freely. If it doesn't and it seems to be dragging, then you'll need to slightly bend the threaded rod between the clevis and the plunger. Get it just right and it will move up and down without any drag in the solenoid.

The plunger rod naturally bends so it's a good idea every year to check the movement of the sear and adjust accordingly.
