I currently own an standard AM z-Grip and I want to mount it on my original RT. Can I simply mill out the rear hole to fit the banjo bolt or am I SOL?

You can just mill the hole out.

I think that is the only difference.

I'm pretty sure you can mill the wings off to have it work.
