    Increase ROF

So i've had my mag (a feed-right body, classic valve and an intelliframe) for a couple of months and im looking to increase my rate of fire to keep up with them new age paintsprayers. I've done my research and I find that the cost of achieving such a goal is somewhat outrageous and leaves me with 2 options: 1. Sell my mag and spend major money building a new mag from scratch or 2. Quit the mag scene and purchase a nice used gun for much less. Even the cheap projects like the spydermag and pneumag are costly, mainly because I don't own the proper tools to mill and what-not and the fact that I must purchase a ULE, another vavle, a proper rail, etc. So does anyone have any idea on how to slap together a quick shooting mag for under $300? The parts can be used, i just need an estimate on parts for future reference (just a side note, I DO NOT HAVE ANY MONEY AS OF NOW, so please refrain from posting offers ) and lemme know if this thread is in the wrong section

if you're doing a Pmag you shouldn't need to be getting a new valve. if you already have the intelliframe you're a third of the way there. i think you can pick up the parts for about $50ish tops and i'd bet someone on AO would be willing to do the work for you for another $50.

i'm actually considering doing exactly that with a minimag, standard AIR valve on it. it'd be a sweet little sleeper.

Yea dude, Pneumagging isnt as much as you may think. Im getting mine done for Way less than $300.00. Its going to be all done up, tuned, and ready to rock. In the end it should be under $200.00.

PM Cyberave for a quote on work. I just dont wanna give his prices without his permission.

Still, thats the way to go. Electro speed, lvl10 reliability, and AGD durability. Nuff said.

        Just a reminder...

If you go pneu, you have to use HPA if you're not already using it.

Now if you already have an Intelli as someone mentioned, there's some savings right there. Get a pneu-kit, find someone to do the install, and you should still have some $$ leftover for a decent HPA tank if you need one.

Another option is to just keep an eye on the B/S/T threads. Every once in a while you'll find someone selling off a fully built pneu-frame for $150 or less. You may even find a Spydermag frame, but those are much less common.

        Good luck!

Unless you're going to be playing many tournaments, why worry about the gap in ROF?
I'm an old tourney player from the 90s and clean house on fellas with angels while using my old school autococker. Play as much as you can and don't fall for all the rate of fire hype. a stock mag in the right hands is plenty fast for most game play! On the other hand, from what i've seen here, the idea of a pneumag is just plain sexy!

... or you could just lighten your trigger pull a bit by dropping in an RT on/off.

You won't be walking the trigger by any means but you'll definitely be able to pull the trigger faster.

I think a new on/off is $30-something. If you decide to go pneu, you'll need it anyway.

Have you considered an RT Pro valve? Going for about $110 used right now. Will dramatically increase your rate of fire. Also, Pneumag's are sweet. Pneumag's are not that expensive. You have the frame, so you just need a kit, LPR and RTP on/off. Probably around $110. You will just need help putting it together. It is really quite easy and you don't need to do heavy modifying. At most you just got to shave some things down and tap a few holes. Cyberave68 has some things that will really make it easy. Check him out.
