    minimag woes...

alright. so i just got a minimag recently. basically all stock except for a powerlyte trigger frame. when i aired it up to dry fire it, it started leaking air out from betweeen the 2 valve halves. so i tightened them together a little bit, and it stopped. then i aired it up again and this time i was getting a massive leak going out the barrel. when i pulled the trigger the gun fired and the leak stopped, but when i released the trigger the leak continued. i tryed oiling almost every hole i could see. could someone please tell me whats up with this? thanks!

If I where in your shoes I would get a rebuild/parts kit from AGD and replace all of the o-rings. They are around $20 IIRC and well worth it considering you will be replacing one set of o-rings after another until you have replaced them all.

Don't let it scare you, you have a really durable, highly reliable marker there but it sounds like you have 15 year old o-rings.

          ^nailed it.

Replace the power tube o-ring, put 3 drops of oil in the ASA, remove barrel, gas up, fire 20 shots, replace barrel, done.

              slide off the bolt.
grab a nickel and use that to unscrew the tip...your o-ring is in there "powertube"

also pull out your on/off and check orings and oil it up

well i checked it out yesterday, and it looks like the oring is fine. what about the power tube spacer? i went on the agd website and looked at the exploded view of the valve, and it said to use a shorter spacer if the gun is leaking down the barrel. and this isnt just a little his, i might as well just screw my tank into an asa with no macroline coming out of it. it stops when i hold the trigger down though, but once i release the trigger, the leak starts again

Looks can be deceiving. Replace the ring. Also, make sure the rail bushing is in place, that will cause a barrel leak if that isn't there.
