Can't Get My X-valve To Work!!!!

I just got the x-valve. I'm installing it to a classic minimag body, original rail, and 45 frame. Followed instructions to install. Aired up no leaks. Pulled trigger NOTHING HAPPENED. Worked on it a bit and still nothing. Thinking its my trigger pull assembly. Fiddled with that a bit and nothing. It seems like the air is not getting into the air chamber until i twist the valve counter clockwise a hair & then I was able to fire but only once.

Anyone have a clue on how to fix this??

I have the ule trigger also but not installed yet I want to get the valve working first.

Have you tried screwing in you regulator? Use an allen wrench in the back of the gun. Turn it clockwise to increase pressure/velocity

I would start with that as well.

Did that nothing. OK has anyone ever heard of this??? When I air up I hear it click and pull the trigger and nothing happens. I think no air is getting into the power tube. So the bolt is not pressurized. The little hole that the sear pops up from to hit the trigger pull. Could that hole be too small or could the pin not open all the way??? Could I make that hole a little bigger without screwing up the gun??? Reason for my thinking is when I air up I hear a click with the pin. When I twist the valve a hair I hear another click and then I works.

The clicking is the valve charging and engaging the sear. If you can feel pressure on the trigger, then the regulator part of the valve is getting air to the on-off at least. Is there a tiny gap between the back of the trigger and the trigger rod when the trigger is fully forward. If not then you need to shorten the trigger rod so that it is not touching. If there is too much gap, the same applies, except you need to lengthen the rod until it almost touches.

If the rod is the correct length, check that the level 10 is properly setup. A carrier that is too tight will prevent the gun from firing. Remove all level 10 shims and use the largest carrier that doesn't leak.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

If it's a LVLX problem, it can be the carrier that is too tight or the spring is too strong. Did you raise the velocity screw enough? Try turning it more until it starts to vent and back it up a little. Maybe there is just not enough pressure pushing the bolt.

What's the output pressure of your tank? Is the valve getting ~800psi?

All i did was change one of the o-rings inside the on/off valve. For some reason there was a large o-ring inside & i changed it to a tiny one. That seemed to work. Now i'm working on adjusting the level 10 bolt. The ule trigger pull kit is amazing. I cant believe how much the trigger pull has reduced.
