Does anybody know who can convert my micromag 2000 centerfeed body to accept a clamping feedneck? I've sent a message to Jay, but haven't heard back yet (not surprised considering the post he made about being super busy)
Modifying CF micromag to clamping feed

The only ones that I had seen were the final bodies sold by PTP and obviously that wasn't an option.Originally posted by MadmarxIt has been done.
Have you done a search?
You will trash the original neck getting it out.
I don't care about the old neck, I just don;t want any damage to the body...

Thanks MANN...

I have the last PTP micromag 2000 and it had a removable feedneck. Mine just screws off. I had a guy make me a new one.

Drop a line to Going_home, the guy who made it can also remove your old one.Comment

Correction I have the last one. I just got mine in the mail from Pro Team, they were engarving it as the Last MicroMag2000.Originally posted by muddshutterI have the last PTP micromag 2000 and it had a removable feedneck. Mine just screws off. I had a guy make me a new one.
The only last 12 MicroMag2000 were made with threads for a feedneck. You can have your feedneck milled off and have threads cut into the body there is more than enough space.Originally posted by muddshutterDrop a line to Going_home, the guy who made it can also remove your old one.Comment

You could also make your current feedneck a clamping model. Make four cuts across the top of your current feedneck as if you were quartering a pie. Take a clamp from another feedneck and put it on the one atop your Micromag. If this doesn't work for you, you can still remove it and emplace your favorite aftermarket feedneck.Originally posted by craltalDoes anybody know who can convert my micromag 2000 centerfeed body to accept a clamping feedneck?
