    Benchmark discovery

I did some serious tinkering with my classic RT tonight and noticed that when the gun is on safe it will still fire but the normally long benchy trigger pull is really short and smooth1 Has anybody else had this experience. I'm wondering if I put something back together wrong when cleaning. If so I have to continue to do it this way because the trigger now rocks!

Have you changed the lenght of the sear rod? If it's longer, it could active the sear and the safety would act as a trigger stop. That's an interresting discovery you have made there.

u may have put the safety in wrong, so that it's turned a bit from the angle it should be, which could serve to stop the trigger.

I had a similar thing happen with my classic mag and a benchy, although you had to put a bit of extra force on the trigger to get it to happen.
