    Pnemag Help

Just got my Pnemag and everything was good. The trigger was too much so I wanted to turn it down so I turned the lpr in and the msv-2 started to leak. I played with the lpr and msv 2 stopped leaking but now the hose on the lpr keeps blowing up. I turned the lpr all the way in and out but the hose is still blowing up. Is my lpr or msv2 bad?

Are you cutting the hose back every time it pops off? Wind the screw out before you you gas it up. It also might be the regulator innards are stuck on a much higher pressure setting, so you may need to dismantle the reg. There should only be about 4 parts in there so try and remember which way they go back together.

With no air on the gun and you tug on the hose to the lpr does it come off easily? If so that is the problem, otherwise you going in the right path as your LPR is not regulating pressure down enough causing it to blow the line off. yes they can go bad, but its likely fixable.

Here's the easiest way to set the LPR to the correct pressure:
          1) First, take the end of the LP hose that blew off, and cut off an inch of it.(If it blew off, it is most likely damaged from that)
          2) Reattach the fresh cut end of the hose to the LPR.
          3) Unscrew the LPR adjustment knob all the way.
          4) Air up the marker.
          5) Slowly turn the knob in, while pulling the trigger.
          6) Once the marker actually fires, turn the knob an extra 1/2 turn, and you are all set.

It sounds like the LPR was set too high and it caused the MSV-2 to leak, and then blew off the LP hose. There is probably nothing wrong with the LPR. Maybe try running a little oil through the Pneumatic set up. Other than that. You should be good. Good luck!!

This could also be the case. I had a Tickler, and the o Ring inside actually went bad, and ripped a little. It was jamming up the internals. First try my method of setting the LPR that I listed. If that is not working, then there might be something wrong with the LPR.

I use a Palmer Micro Rock and i had the same problem, and yes the reg for some reason kept on getting stuck. I was unable to adjust the reg pressure as it was stuck on high and would vent through the MSV-2. I took it apart the once and it's fine now.

run a few drops of oil through the pnuematics and see if that helps
