    Eractic Velocity?

I went out to play this morning from about 10:00 am till 4:00 pm and my gun was shooting great the whole day untill the sun came out. From 10 till about 3:30 my gun was set at 287, my velocity would only differ about 2 or 3 every shot. But then when the sun came out, and the temp jumped about 10 degrees, my gun starts shooting hot, 320 range. And the velocity would read like this, 320,322,321,312,310,320,322,225, an so on, dipping down till 312,310 area every 4th shot or so. What was going on here. Would a drastic temp change be affecting that or what? Thats the only explanation I could think of. I'm shooting a 68 Mag with an ACI Bulldog II 3000 tank at 800 psi output.

might be the tank was low on air but that shouldnt effect it and temp shouldnt effect nitro. hmmmm i dun know.... mabey a leak some where.

Check your reg seat cup thingy

The thick round rubber disc with a small hole in the middle, that is placed between your reg and the rest of your valve body. If this has dirt on it or if you've taken the valve halves apart too many times, it might need replacing. This is the most common cause of erratic velocity. Check out Rob AGD's post in the tech forum.
This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!

There arent any leaks anywhere and my reg seat is fine, I just replaced it like 5 months ago. Velocity is not always eractic, just when the temp rose, it changed, I usally shoot great, and yes the tank was getting very low on pressure.
