    Nitro Duck Reg on RT

i got a 800 psi piston in a NitroDuck reg ... all is fine.
Now I have received a 1000psi piston and I wanna swap with the 800.
Question is this : the reg has two burst disks ..one on tank side and one on marker side, I believe the marker side disk is rated at 1000 psi ...if I change the 800 piston for 1000 .. is this disk likely to burst ?
may seem a stupid question, but would be nice to know before i go messing

    thanks

Thanks. I've never looked close up at a burst disk. Will check.

I just took a look at my Nitroduck tank with IReg and the burst disks are only marked with a "1" and a "7".

This is, however, set up factory from Nitroduck on a 45/4500 tank with 800 piston (haven't installed the 1000 yet). I couldn't imagine the burst disks being set up to handle less than the maximum piston on this adjustable reg, but the 1 and 7 could be 1000psi and 7000psi. I thought the minimum was usually 1800.

Although i don't have a nitro duck, my second burst disc is rated at 1,8K as well.

do you get good bounce with 1k piston?

It's ok but not what I had hoped. My pure energy came from the factory alittle above 1000psi out-put and it just kills it hands down. With the i-reg I get pauses between shots sometimes while rapid firing. As for my pure energy I can empty a full hopper non stop. The I-reg is new so I hope it will get alittle better as it breaks in

that is the first bad review i have seen for the ireg with rt and 1000 psi piston. anyone else with experience with these? im really hoping for good reactivity since i just bought a nitro duck with ireg and piston kit.

My emag is pretty bouncy in mech mode with my i-reg. No pauses or shootdown on it or one my egomag.

It's not a bad reg by far but it's just not the best.My mag is set up to sling paint. At 15bps it's fine no problems at all. It's just when you want to show off it's not that great. I guess I got lucky with my pure energy reg it came over 1000psi when I bought it and it just rips. Alot of people have not been as lucky with there performance of the pure energy

I've been piecing together a setup also meant to sling it out there pretty fast....RT, Intelliframe, Q-Loader, Level 10, etc. I was going go with a Dynaflow or a Max Flo, but then I started reading a lot of great reviews on the IReg at 1000. Plus, I like to run remote.

I guess I'll just have to see when it all comes together.
