On/Off shooting out, Powertube unscrewing, The world's coming to an end! Please help

Ok, I have a slight problem with my mag. Here are the symptoms.

I will assemble the gun, and it will work fun for about 300 shots. When I chronoed it with HPA, I got +/-7 at 270, and then I'd get a random 220 about every 20 shots. Then, the trigger rod won't come forward all the way, only a bit. It's like there's no air getting to the gun. But there is!

So I take apart the gun, and this is what I find

Gun remains pressurized a bit - which causes -
On/off popping out when I remove the valve
    Powertube unscrewed halfway

So, I'm thinking it's JUST the powertube unscrewing itself. BUT WHY?! I mean, I have the stupid o - ring on it. And I cranked it down with the spring and then a coin. I used a quarter on that thing! I was considering loc-tite, or teflon tape.

    Questions for you, the consumer:

Is it JUST that, or is there something else?
    POR QUE?!!?

I shoot a Classic Mag powerfeed, with HPA.

make sure after u turn off the air to the valve, to pull the trigger a few times to empty any remaining air, that should stop the on/off from flying.

As for why the tip is coming off, never had that prob, maybe the o-ring isnt thick enough?

I couldn't fire it to empty it, because the trigger rod would not extend out. I have never had the mag retain air after unscrewing the tank.

Bolt stick is causing all of that. It might be caused by your powertube tip unscrewing, so get a new o-ring on that puppy. As soon as you get it to stop unscrewing, that should solve all your problems. If not, check your powertube spacer/spring/o-ring.

If it's still unscrewing even if you have the o-ring in place, does the oring still apply pressure when you tighten it? Maybe a couple turns of tefflon can keep it in it's place if the oring seems in good condition.

Ooh, thanks michbich for an idea. You could do the barrel o-ring trick of a little bit of scotch tape under the o-ring to beef it up if you can't get a new o-ring soon enough.

Nope, just did the teflon tape. This time the powertube didn't unscrew, but I had the same problem. It seems to happen when I'm rapid firing

Atleast you have one thing less to worry about now. How does the powertube and the ON-OFF o-ring look?

I'll take a shot in the dark by saying: Shortstroking it maybe?

I do get a little pressure in the on-off when there is no more tank attached to it, but the pin doesn't move though. I only feel the pressure when i remove the on-off, it makes a little POP.
