Classic valve, rt on/off leaks

Hey guys i love the feel of my classic valve with an rt on/off in it. but for some reason it leaks. the leak stops when i put a slight bit of pressure on the trigger.
Exactly which oring is this?. i have replaced them all and cant seem to find anything that works. iv tried a thicker grease on the orings. iv tried 2 diffirent on/offs. i have a third im about to try but other then that im out of ideas!

Sounds like you need a longer powertube spacer. Notice how the sear is angled where it meets the bolt? When you slightly pull the trigger, it is slightly moving the bolt which then seals the powertube o-ring.

Either that or on/off bottom o-ring.

If it is down the barrel, powertube.

its got a lvl 10 in it, ill check it out in the morning

Try feeding her more oil or moving down a carrier half size.

i put the oldschool on/off back in. and no leak. retuned the lvl 10 no leak...put the rt on/off back in...LEAK

Now heres the kicker! i didnt even switch out the orings from the oldschool on/off and the rt. so my guess would be that its the oring that stradles the on/off pin, am i right? and if so is there a way to get one thats SLIGHTLY tighter?

OK slight development!!! i went through and ripped out every oring i have and tried them all and finally found somethin that works FOR NOW...the Solid white oring that goes in the middle of the old style on/offs seems to stop the leak. i still had one more option a black square edged one. ill update again after a day of play

One on the left works, on in the middle was untested and the standard ones on the right leaked

question, ive tried a couple rt on/off's in my classic as well, but i always get chuffing, like it's staved for air or somethin, sometimes it'll shoot normally sometimes it doesnt, does yers do that?

Was she lawn-sprinkling?

If the trigger is not pulled, the on/off top teflon o-ring is not a sealing o-ring. You said when you slightly pull the trigger, the leak stops. If the problem is in the on/off, these symptoms would then point to the urethane o-rings in the on/off or the bottom teflon one, seated in the on/off bottom.

Maybe it's the small black o-ring inside the RT on/off. Also check the gap between the trigger and the rod. Then RT pin length.
