    RT on off pin

    Hi
In my previous thread I was outlining the problems I have with my RT trigger
I have just stripped her again and on close examination I find the on /off pin is only .587" when I understand it should be .750" the end also feels somewhat jagged as if broken

Can someone just tell me if I am right about this broken pin business before I proceed?

That could definitely be your problem, never heard of an on/off that short

        thanks for your reply
I have put her back together now and everything is coming up ok, no leaks, trigger is airing up
only problem now is she won't fire.
a little bit of fine tuning the on/off pin maybe?

try shortening it slightly, just a few thousandths, and try adjusting the velocity also

Yes I did 211. I just loosened the trigger a tad and took a further .05" off the pin collar and she shoots!!!!! Wahay!
              She shoots! She scores!!

Just got to make some nubbins now as mine was rusted away
anyone know for any diagrams or photos of a nubbin on the net?

now for a really stupid question!
how do I adjust the velocity only she only shoots about 30yds?

Also I have the old type bottle reg on (Not asa) with an allen headed bolt on the end how do I adjust that and should I need to?

the end of the vlave is the velocity adjuster, turn in to go up, out to go down, should be the same with your tank reg (althought what type of tank reg do you have?)
if you turn the velocity up to high it will start to vwent out the back, this is normal just turn it down until it stops then head for a chrono
as far as the nubbins, just buy some plastic nubbins from AGD. They are much nicer on paint than the old wire nubbins

I am as happy as a puppy with two ******** and a long tongue!!
I have ordered some plastic nubbins but they will take a few days so I am hoping to make some temp ones out of stainless wire if I can find out what they look like!
                    tank reg is tsunami
i just need to find that sweet spot now!

the higher the input psi from the tank the easier it is to sweetspot
Ill take a quick peek for a wire nubbin pic
                      basically

You can probably just take a paper clip and fold it like 211 said. As long as the part holding the paint isn't sharp or too deep, you should be alright.

that makes sense to me actually as I had the remains of my nubbin but the rest of the U shaped bit had rusted off!
Heres some pictures from start to finish!
