    Tac One feedneck

I was wondering if theres a thread and I could unscrew the feedneck to replace it with a clamping one. It is Angel threaded correct ? Will ion/epiphany feednecks match the threading ?

Although i don't know about the ion/epiphnay threads, i know that the tac one is Angel threaded. Remember, the strapwrench is your friend when dealing with feednecks. Don't go in there with visegrips and pliers.

They can be removed, use a strap wrench

It is not the same thread and pitch but I have heard it is very close... It's best to use Angel.

The reason i was asking was that i am trying to fit a q-loader on my Tac One and the feed elbow is very loose going into the standard feedneck. Maybe i should put some electrical tape there so elbow stays tight.

IIRC that is the exact place that I have heard use of the ION thread on a Tac Body was for the Qloader elbow kit.

Also before you try and remove the neck you might want to try and soften the loc-tight by running hot tap water over the body/neck area for a few minutes.

Would it be better if i just used some electrical tape wrapped over the elbow to have it fit snug into the feedneck ? I had no idea there was some loctite involved

you could, but it would look a bit ugly.

loc-tite can also be remove by heading up the part where the loc-tite is with a heat gun or a hair dryer. Even though heat work work a lot faster.

Also if it is blue loctite you can just twist it out, any idea which loctite this is?

you can get the ion mod kit for the tac-one. There is a feedneck that you will want to use that is included in that kit.

not sure if there are any other mods for the tac-one with a qloader. I went to there site and checked the mod kits. That is where it said to use the ion mod it. I also just ordered a CMS Upgrade from them also so I have more options for mounting my Q on my tac-one. When I get it in and have everything mounted I will post pictures for you

if its in reference to the q-loader then its the Custom Mounting Socket upgrade which gives the user much more versitility in mounting the q-loader system.
