    Few quick questions

I was out yesterday for only the second real time with the mag and I was finally able to get my mag to work almost flawlessy except for two things I noticed. The first one is in the morning when I first went to chrono, I noticed that the mag was shooting hot with the red spring and kept getting bolt stick or not firing at all. I tried teching it, but I had the it tuned perfect from the start as I was using no shims and the o-ring fits just right as one size up becomes a leak. So I took it out and used the short gold one. After a game or two and a few chops, I figured eh, why not and gave the red spring another go. This time it chronoed +/- 10 fps and fired everytime afterwards for the rest of the day. Now mine is brand new and I've heard theres a break in period for the gun, but does stuff like this really happen until its broken in or was this a fluke thing? After yesterday, I've probably shot about 2 cases combined through it now at least, so has it reached the golden "broke in" period now?

Second one I thought I read this was normal, but I couldnt remember/find it. Anyway, at our last game of the day I noticed that the mag was leaking slightly down the barrel, but after a a few quick strings of fire or about 14 shots, the leak stopped and never came back even after playing on for about 5 more mins and a degas/regas at staging. This random slight leaking that goes away after firing a normal thing that happens sometimes like I think I read or not?

My mag is the RT-ULE Custom and it was about 42 yesterday with wind if temperature is a factor in any of this. Thanks.

I played for the first time this weekend and had the same problem as your problem number two. Air leaking out of the barrel. I kept on playing and guessed that i must be out of air. After about 10 shots i had 2 or three bad sloppy shots and marker stop firing all together. I went to refill my tank as it was empty.

Hope this can give you some guidance. Sorry i couldnt help more.

If the morning was cool, it could cause the carrier to be contracted on the oring a bit making it a tiny bit tighter than normal. After a bit of use, it will loosen up. As you break the oring in, it becomes smooth on the inside and operates more consistently. You won't have these morning issues as much after that happens. The manufacturing seam on the oring will be gone and the oring will also be a bit more loose, which may require you to use the next smaller carrier size. You may be at that point right now.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

What about the slight leaking that went away after firing a few rounds? Is that normal and happens from time to time or is it just the o-ring on the brink of needing to sized for the second time?

As the oring breaks in, the manufacturing seam on the oring will be gone and the oring will also be a bit more loose, which may require you to use the next smaller carrier size. Before it is changed, this usually causes a slight leak that may seal itself as you shoot a few shots. As the oring moves around while you are shooting, it quite often gets pushed into a position that allows a better seal.
