warp feed 12 volt mod HELP!

I did the 12volt mod today and it runs faster on one night volt then 2 night volts going through the 12v regulator. I believe I have it hooked up correctly. I wiredit via the directions on the regulators box. I couldnt find a diagram on here. It does run slower though. Do I need really fresh batteries because its going through the reg?

I fixed it. Just a little bad wiring on my part
