    CO2 and classic valve

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate shots per ounce from CO2 on a classic valved mag? I will be running a 9 oz and 50 rnd hopper, so I am trying to figure out how much paint, roughly, I can carry on myself. Thanks.

Hard to say... what is the temperature range you will be playing in?

Back in the day, in warmer temps, F1 Illustrators used to get ~400+ shots off a 7oz (IIRC), so a mag on a 9 should get ~300+ I am thinking, as long as the temps are good. A 12oz would be about the same weight as a chromoly 9 and would give you about 100 more shots.

I can get a max of about 500 shots off my 9oz. It's perfect because that's about all the paint I like to shoot in a day.

You can expect to get around 50-60 shots per ounce.

Thanks, that is what I needed to know. This is sort of my scenario mag, it is together and functioning, just got to get it powdercoated and do a little airbrush work. I live in MI so the weather it will see will be from 50 F to 90F. If I play in colder weather I usually play at one of the indoor places and use my rt mag. Plus I play a lot of outlaw ball and I also have my own field at my home, so CO2 is more convenient at the moment. Planning on getting a scuba tank at some point though. Well thanks again for the info.

I would say 500 as well. When i had a 20oz, i could do 1200 with a spyder. If you have LVLx, your shot count should decrease a little.

I have been trying to figure mine also since i bought a mag, i'm guessing a 3,5 should bring 120-150 shots with lvl7.

my classic valved mag will not be seeing any high rates of fire, and the tank is anti-siphoned. It is running lvl 7 bolt. My RT mag has the xvalve which has the lvl 10 obviously, and I just got a new crossfire tank for it too, my pmi is going on 7 years old, so time for new one. The wifes mag has a classic valve, but we run a 48/4500 dxs tank on it, never have put CO2 through that one in the past cause her tank lasts her quite a while. This mag I am using the CO2 on though is a back bottle setup and with an anti-siphon tank should do fine. 400 to 500 shots from the 9 oz will do me just fine. I had considered a 13/3000 tank, but i figured I wouldn't get very many from that, I used to use my 13/3000 on my typhoon I had, I would get about 180 shots from that, but I don't think a mag would see more than 150 from a 13/3000.

Ok enough of my rambling. Once again thanks everyone for the help
