    Power tube problem

Here we go again, we are (Drop Zone) working on a RT mag. Problem is previous owner took off the bolt bumper and has destroyed the power tube tip and the threads in the power tube are stripped out. Anyone know what to do for this? Does anyone even have a power tube. Can it even be changed or is this valve destroyed???
    Thanks for your
    help in advance

It can be changed. the powertube fronts do come off, but are very hard to do so. I would suggest talking to agd/tuna to see what they charge for the service. The marker may not be worth salvaging. Ie its worth more in parts than what fixing the valve would cost. Every now and then someone will sell just an RT valve in the b/s/t listings.

I will look when I get home to see if I have any more. (I had a few, but think I got rid of them).

It depends on which valve it is, some of them are welded on

I thought they were all welded since level 7.

            All of them are not.

look on your valve, and you should be able to tell if it is welded or not.

Worked on the valve this weekend. The powertube tip screws off at the very end of the valve. It has an orange oring.
Tunaman do you have something like this??? If I can figure out how to post a pic I will or I'll email it to you.
