    reg cap questions.

So I have one of the reg caps/plugs that was made for the mags by one of the users here. It simply replaces the back half of the classic valve. Currently I have my 950 psi output tank into a palmers reg putting out about 400 psi into the regless classic valve.

So why not just run a low-pressure(400ish psi) tank into the regless valve?

I am not a mag noob. I know the cap is dumb, but I have it and would love to get this gimmicky thing working.

You'll shoot-down the tank. It's best not to fully rely on the regulator alone. That one shot buffer will make a ton of diffrence in your classic valve, and besides the valve will go down to 400psi in the tank regardless of the input pressure.
