    RT classic trigger pin stick

It alternates shooting and chuffing. Shoot, chuff, shoot, chuff. Sometimes it'll shoot a couple in a row, but it always goes back to chuffing. I'm not sure what the problem is here. I just got it today and it has a lvl10, but no spare parts. It seems as if the powertube oring is a bit too tight, but I'm not 100% positive on that. Its been a while since I've held a mag. I don't remember ever having this problem, so any help would be appreciated.

Okay, so I decided to see how far the balls were shooting, thinking maybe it was low velocity. I gas it up and get the same old shoot, chuff mess. I turn up the velocity a bit and its working fine...but here comes the paint. Those things sounded painful. I haven't played in a good 2 1/2 years, but that seemed like it was shooting REALLY hot. Also, now the lvl10 feels a good bit different on my finger. It'll still prevent a chop, but its not nearly as gentle as it was. Maybe this is a lvl 10 problem, I dunno. Any help would be appreciated.

It really seems like the trigger isnt resetting the same time every time. I'm just confused now

I suspect you need to use a lighter spring. If yuio are using the long grey spring, go to the red spring. If you are using the red spring or cut grey spring, use the short gold spring. the lighter spring will allow you to turn the velocity down and still have good antichop ability while maintaining consistent operation.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I'm about to head off to work, but I'll try cutting down the grey spring tomorrow. The mag didn't come with any spare lvl10 parts unfortunately.

if i had a lvl7 to test it with, i'd try it out, but it only came with a lvl10 and no spare parts =(

Mine acts similar to what you are describing if my Banjo bolt is not screwed in firmly with an allen wrench. You may also want to check to see if the inline air filter is still in the front grip. Mine was clogged, causing mine not to cycle properly after the first shot. I removed the filter correcting the problem. You probably should order a new oring kit and change out all the old ones if you just got the gun. That way you are starting fresh.

I swear to god I heard that you should only hand tighten the banjo bolt, which is what I have been doing. I'll try it with the allen wrench, and I run my air straight from the asa to the rail. I need another macroline fitting

I was told the same thing too. All I can speak for is my experience with my own RT. It took me forever to figure out because it went against common knowledge. However, my RT will not function unless I use the allen wrench. My gun is completely stock except for the barrel.

Some need the allen key twist, some don't . It's a tolerance issue.

I just got a classic RT rail, and after looking at the banjo hole, I'm really afraid the O-rings won't be able to seal. If that happens, I'm going to have to fill the ports with JB weld and re-drill the little holes that lead from the ports to the banjo hole.
