MINIMAG: my On/Off pin is getting stuck... I think

I have had my minimag for 7ish years, and I shoot on CO2 (I know it shoots better on compressed air, but i have never had problems untill now). Several times, when firing rapidly, the gun just "freezes", the firing pin behind the trigger does not come back forward and obviously nothing happens by pulling the trigger. The gun does not leak air anywhere that I can hear or see. I have to take the gun apart and then the pin pops out, and it will work fine for a little while longer. I have looked at all the O-rings in the gun, especially the ones around/in the on/off valve area, none appear to be broken or damaged. PLEASE HELP. I do not know what to do, and there aren't really any shops that I know of which service AGD markers (one shop didn't even know what kind of gun i was shooting). Thanks,
    Jesse

im sure your valve is just freezing up since you are rapid firing. was it cold outside when this happened? the weather is a big factor as well; when i was shoot my classic/minimag valve in 65-67* weather, it still froze up.

Sounds like bolt stick. Look that up.

      from http://www.automagsuk.com/classicandrt.html
      "4. Level 7
The level 7 parts are the bolt and all the guts inside of the powertube including the powertube tip that you see in the valve picture above. The level 7 is a system of compensating for the crude tolerances that you'll run into if you try to install aftermarket parts like rails and trigger frames. It's one of those things that if it's working, dont mess with it cause you have no reason to.

If your getting bolt stick, put in a shorter power tube spacer

If your getting barrel leak, put in a longer one.

The spacers adjust where the pin inside the bolt seats on the power tube o-ring. You want to have it set where the bolt pin can get past the seal of the o'ring, but also seat far enough so it seals and keeps the dump chamber from leaking while it refills for the next cycle."

        Yes, sounds like bolt stick.

Replace the bolt spring. It is probably worn out.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
