new LP tank seems to be leaking

hey guys, I got a new LP tank over the weekend and when I got it they filled it to about 4000, it has been sitting in my bag for 4 days and I checked the pressure it is sitting at under 3000. Unless my dogs have been playing with my tank while im at work something doesnt seem right.

Any idea what could be going on? or could this infact be normal?

it probably has a slight leak
you might not be able to hear it, but if you take and spray some soapy water on it it will bubble if its leaking
especially check the gauge and fill nipple

Is it a PMI (Pure Energy) Tank? If it is you are leaking out of your pin valve. You can replace it easily. It is actually a super common issue on the tanks. 100% of mine have had this issue.
