Emag Battery Post

I hope this has not been brought up before. Searched the forums but found nothing.

Anyway, my problem is that I'm prepping an EMag grip frame for re-annodizing. I have the whole grip frame stripped down with the lone exception of the forward-most battery post. The exploded views of E-XMags don't show the removal of this part. So, does it come out? If so, how does it come out?

Any help is appreciated.
