    Plating a 'Mag

    So I've searched, and I've asked on other forums, but just to be safe...

    If I get a SS 'Mag body gold plated do I need to remove anything?

    So far the answer has been "no" across the boards but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask once more. Thanks for the help.
