    question about the new bumper

I thank you AO in teaching me about my new x valve ule custom. It is tuned and works great as I just played this past weekend. In my normal gun maintainance I noticed that the bumper looks worn and is starting to disinigrate (getting sticky coming apart). I have done a lot of dry firing in my tuning and run a lot of autolube through my asa. Is this normal to have the bumper ware so quickly as this is the second one i've gone through in a month and a half? Does to much autolube eat a bumper up? What Oil should I use if not Autolube? Does Hoppes #9 work well?

Yes those bumpers wear out pretty quickly .... you can try gluing them down to help them last longer.

Does the right oil make them last longer? I noticed on the MagSmith.com that they make blue bumpers for the older automags. Do they last longer or even work at all with the new bolt?

yes the blue bumper last longer but are less "bouncy" you can use them if you desire but some people report that their guns tend to more kick when using them and cant reach as high a bps as with the clear bumper.
