    building a mag from ground up..got some questions

    Building a mag from the ground up..got a question.

    What purpose does the washer and c-clip serve?
    Where does it go?

    I'll using an x-valve, xmagterror phoenix body/rail(thinking about swapping it with the RPG shadow rail), and Chimara frame

      If I were you, I'd keep the phoenix rail and body together... the shadow rail is nice, but it would mess up the "flow" of the phoenix milling.

      As for the c-clip and washer, I think it has something to do with the bolt... not 100% on that though.

          I think he's talking about the washer that goes inside the mainbody and the c-clip that holds the washer in place. They are there to prevent wear on the inside edge of the mainbody when the bolt/spring move.
