Question about fore grip. Tom please help.

I have a old school automagrt. Is there any way that i can get the finger groove grip on the front of the rt to be stationary. i dont want to glew it doun because i would like to be capable of posibly mooving it later on. But i dont care if it took me ten minuts or so to adjust it.
Sorry for the spelling. Im still working on it.

Hmmmm, have you tried taking the main body off and messing the screw on the body rail, if that doesnt work, then what you say might be impossible.

I know what he's talking about... I have a new RT (got it on closeout... cheap but new! yea!) and the rubber surround of the grip spinds with very little effort.

I wouldn't mind an easy solution, either... If one exists.

ok, i tote a classic mag, but i think i see what you are saying... for an easy fix could you drill a hole thru the bottom of the rubber & the thing inside it & put some sort of pin or screw there to keep it from spinning? ddont be suprised if you dont understand this, im only guessing what the grip is like

the fore grip is gass through. there is a ruber sleve around it that was made to spin. i want a way to stop its spinning. drilling a whole through the side is impossible because you will drill in to the gass passage.

Adrenilins idea will still work, only dont drill all the way through. Just far enough that a set screw will go in and stop the grip from spinning. Or try putting a bead of silicone around the base (top/bottom), this will stop spinning of grip but also allow you to remove it if you need to later.

Thats a prety good idea. I may try to put it in betwene the ruber and aluminum so it will still look good. any one else with an idea?

Stick something in between the rubber and aluminum to open up a channel then drip in some superglue and that should hold it.
