    gun wont fire occasionaly

im having random moments where the trigger stops firing. it feels sorta like bolt stick and sometimes pushing the bolt back fixes it.. but sometimes it dosent... pulling the trigger a couple times till the seer clicks back out occasionaly fixes it too. degassing the gun and regassng it always fixes it.. till it happens again

i realy dont think im using too tight of a carrier on the lvl 10. i poped the next larger one on and i occasionaly get a little hiss out the barrel. ( not much but if i shoot and hold tdown the trigger it will hiss for like .5 secs)
but after 10 shots or so the oring seems to set in and wont hiss anymore so im using that one.

it just feels like the seer isint reseting every time. i have 4 shims in the ult
but it did it with the stock on off as well so i dont think it has anything to do with the shim count on the ult. any ideas?

also of topic... i have a foamie.. should it be on my bolt? lol

What kind of mag do you have? What's your tank pressure set at? That would really help

I had the same problem for my mech rt ule pro. I would be able shoot a few rounds and the trigger would stop resetting so I had to regas my marker. My remedy may not suit you though...I left it alone for a year, came back to it and it worked!

Now onto some more helpful suggestions.
Basically your o-rings aren't broken in yet, your field strip screw is too tight or loose (try turning it roughly a quarter turn in either direction after being screwed in hand tight, this is a pretty normal issue especially if you are using a classic rail), or you may need more shims in the ult. With this hissing it sounds like you need a shim or two in the Lvl 10, and if you're Lvl 10 bolt does not have a foamie on it...it should.

        Nice set up.

Since it's from Tuna I would think all the little things would be taken care of.

The Lvl 10/X-valve/ does have a break in period (10000 shots or 5 cases), it may be your o-rings in the setup have not be broken in yet.

The ULT may need a few more shims (add enough that it starts to bounce and remove them one at a time until this goes away to get the lightest trigger set up, doing this will also shorten the amount the on/off pin has to travel making it "easier" to reset)

It is rare, but on some mags the sear pin assembly can be very stiff and may require some lube for correct function (only happened on one of the five or six assemblies I've had).

If you do have a source of air I would try the breaking it in as that helped a lot for my problems. I still have a little chuff problem but apparently a few more shims in the ULT can help solve this problem.

Good luck and I hope this helps

i dont think the seer is stiff. because the pin will be out of the trigger frame all the way. its just pulling the trigger dosent do anything... its like the on off pin gets caught but if that were the case then the seer would have no tension i would assume.. and it does... the ult didnt come tuned from tuna so it could be that. i guess ill borrow a preset 850 tank and see how the ult is responding. but as i said its doing the same thing ( actualy a litte worse ) with the stock on of.. so i reeeeealy dont think its the shim count.. i should try adjusting the shims in the lvl 10 i guess but that scares me for some reason lol.

Since the bolt is sticking with the stock on-off, the level 10 tuning is probably your problem. Remove the shims from the level 10. They could be giving you a leak by exposing the vent hole when you use the larger carrier size. Once you have all the shims out, then go to the largest carrier that doesn't leak.

The ULT probably needs tuning as well. After you have the level 10 set to use the largest carrier it can, add ULT shims until you can't control the reactiveness. Then remove the shim that caused it.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

ok put the stock on off in for testing. ( just to make sure im not an idiot i should have one large oring in the bottom the trigger chamer and one little one on the on off pin right?) i took out all the shims on the lvl 10 and its chuffinh preaty bad leaking a littl bit out the barrel AND still get a tiny about to bolt stick. tryign a differant o ring carrier now.

ok with no shims in the lv 10 one larger and it will barely fire and leaks a ton. one small and it will barely fire but sticks a ton. i have the smallest bolt spring on atm too. and i was last chronoed at 230 cause i was playing inside.

Hmm maybe try a different o-ring for the carrier. They should be white in color, old ones turn a slight shade of red/brown over time.

Make sure you are not missing the rail bushing at the back of the rail. Try a different carrier oring just to make sure it isn't defective.
