    Help for minimag

    New mag owner, I just received and played with my new-used mini-mag all stock, no upgrades.

    I shot about 3/4 a case of paint at a scenario game then went to dial down for the night play. I took out the stock barrel for a cleaning before I went to the chrono, gassed up went over, got shot 2 times normal, then i did a partial adj to the velocity as I know it doesn't take too much, my gun dropped way off from 260 fps to 210, the next pull went to 130 then the trigger wouldn't respond at all.

    Went back to camp, new bottle of air, re checked barrel placement and checked for stuck paintballs set velocity bolt back to original setting and same issue the trigger wouldn't respond.

    I am very careful with my gear, no gunk build up any where, no gun drops from the table, I think it all started with the barrel cleaning? I took off the valve, checked bolt and spring and all was normal check sear and seemed worn but not broken or unservicable. Please helped

    I really liked the way she was working and want to get it back up and running, thanks

      Its most likely dirt in the back assembly. Take the velocity nut off the back and remove the spring pack and regulator piston assembly. Clean the piston assembly and the inside area of the back of the valve. Put some light oil on your oring and reinsert the regulator piston assembly and spring pack. If that doesn't work, check your regulator seat.
      Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

          I did as you said (this was my first venture into the valve) I pain-stakingly took it all apart, cleaned and oiled up everything and aired it up, then bang bang it worked....

              That's why we like mags. They are very easy to maintain. I'm happy to see yo got it working.
              Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
