    Predator board

I am acquiring emag lowers, and it comes with a predator board. The downside is that i have to do a full assembly of the emag lowers in order for this to work..Are there any special things i need to know about installing the predator board? or is there a direct adapter for plug in and play type of installation?

I also am curious how i can utilize a way to eliminate the HES effect, since i have a project up my sleeve, and need to eliminate this hassle somehow.

you could put a micro switch on the predator, im no expert but im pretty sure its not going to be a plug and play deal. hope you have some soldering skills

I would love to see if someone could link a build like that, I don't like the feel at all of the magnets... I can't believe how tiny these boards are, just got mine today, and it has the mini morlock installed. Good luck with our build boss.

Have you tried searching yet? I ran across a few threads that had a description on how to wire the pred board in the emag. That was some time ago, I'm sure all the info is still there waiting to be found.

I did the search, but i was under the impression that these installations were for a pred-morlock board, not a strictly predator board. I was curious if there is any variations or not. I do have soldering skills, but i think i will pay a friend to help me do it since he does soldering for a living whereas i just do it when i "hafta"...im not that good haha.

Did a bunch of reading, and am confused...

Whats the difference between a predator board, and a predator morlock board?? are they the same thing, or what?

The small mini Predator boards are the Predator Morlocks. They do involve some soldering. The HES works like a switch except it is powered from 5v. You can remove the HES and use a mechanical switch. In doing so, you will remove the mechanical ability of the emag, because I suspect you will also have to remove the trigger rod. There are ways around it, but it is an engineering feat to keep the machanical ability.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
