New to mags

I am new to mags and I am building up from a minimag body. Anyways,I wanted to know how much a stock valve out of a minimag would cost new and used...?

You can buy them used anywhere betwenn $100-$200. You can buy a new ReTro valve for around $260.00 give or take and thats less then a new Minimag valve cost's! Good luck and have fun with your build-up! BUILDING A MAG FROM SCRATCH IS AS MUCH FUN AS YOU CAN HAVE WITH YOUR PANT'S ON!

I saw a valve in the for sale forum and it said he might sell it for 85$ (obviously used), but can you get valves this cheap with the sear and everything with it?

YES YOU CAN!

Sure you can! I just bought one that came with the sear, a PT spacer kit, an 8 hole reg plus the stock reg, a splashed SP tourny lock, nubbins and o-rings and a rear frame bolt for just a little more then that! So they're out there. 4 star Minimag valves usually bring more then the Automag valves due to the 4 free repairs you can get, but they are both the same internally! I just sold a freshly rebuilt Automag valve for $110.00

Sweet, i've been told that they're still really expensive (150) or around there before. But I'm glad to here you can get all of that stuff for around 85! Thx again.
