    Foamie Frustration!!!!!!!

I just replaced the foamie on my lvl 10 bolt twice, I use the gun once and the foamie flies on out, I have used superglue to put them in, let it sit overnight and again happens, I have to order more now

Any suggestions on a brand of superglue to use and how much?

I usually clean the surface with alcohol first and use a small dab of some quick adhesive I buy at radioshack. Lasts for a year or two

But what I do I do because I like to do.

get some 100% acetone at the cosmetics section of your local drug store or grocery store. With the foamie removed, soak the end of the bolt in acetone for a while, an hour should do. then rinse with water and dry off the nose. then glue the foamie on with superglue as normal. It should stay on for a long time. It's falling off because there is old glue and other residue (paintgun oil) on the surface of the bolt.

Be careful not to get acetone on your skin as it is very toxic.

Also take some sandpaper and rough up the area were the foamie sets.

Just played all day of Tunaball without a foamie since it shot off after I glued it on. Not one break. I dont' think I am going to bother with them ever again.

I superglued mine on and it came off yesterday (first time I played with the new foamie). I found that it was double feeding because the ball gets cradled into the bolt and a second one drops into the breech, that is with force feed loaders at least (Torque 440).

Besides being clean, make sure you glue the three corners down as well as the center.

                  epoxy is stronger than superglue

Superglue eats the neoprene rubber. Use epoxy for longer life.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
