Shot off off - then bolt refuse to move?

    Hi every

So i have an RT-ULE setup with a level 10 bolt and an x valve.

I also have an air america adjustable reg:

The input pressure into the mag were between 800 psi and 1200 psi depend on the setup.

At the big game today, if i shoot too fast or shoot 2 shot consecutively the bolt would just get stuck and refuse to shoot. The only way for me to adjust the bolt was to change the pressure from the tank reg i.e. turn the pressure all the way off, then turn it back on. The trigger will also get stuck when that happen ( the pin in the trigger would get stuck in the depress position and refuse to go to it normal position until the pressure is adjust)

Any idea why this is happening? The last time it happen was when i used a Guerrilla Air regulator on the mag, and i will developed shot drop off after firing 6 shot or so consecutively, and i assumed that the higher pressure output from the adjustable reg would fix that, but somehow this make it worse.

In a few time, the shot also have a tendency to have a few shot drop off before the bolt shut off permanently (until i do the air reset thing)

    thanks

sounds like bolt stick. might want to make sure your detents are not screwed in too far.

Actually the bolt is not sticking to the detent though, i forgot to mentioned that i have a warp left body.

What end up happening is that the bolt will retract back, but not all the way to trigger the sear and the trigger pin. If i pushed on the foamie of the bolt to make the bolt move backward a bit more it will trigger the sear and the trigger pin ( does not help with the air what so ever), the bolt still doesn't seem to have enough pressure to move forward.

        Definitely sounds like bolt stick.

Be sure to have the largest carrier that doesn't leak (sounds like you have too tight a carrier at the moment) and make sure your bolt spring isn't worn out.

Okie, i will try to change the carrier, and the spring is brand new so i guess that should be ok.

Yeah, thats bolt stick. I'd go with a larger carrier size.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
