    Feed tube surgery

So I finally got me a revy to see if it will help stop the chopping I get when I open up the trigger on some fool rushing in on me. Here is a question though. I have a classic feed tube, long as sin. Now that I have a revy can I cut it down? I know that I should not mess with it when I was using a gravity fed hopper because of blow back but a revy will elminate blow back issues right?

    Peace.

I cut the feed tube on my standard feed mag to install a universal power feed on and didn't have any problems. My feed tube is about 1/2 inch long. Just try to make it as smooth as posible(You don't want to tear a ball on the way in)

Hey Taz, I noticed you are from Canada. Where did you get the Universal POwer feed from? I have heard of these but have not been able to find a picture of one. Is it hard to install?

No thery are not hard to install, it slips over the feed tube and is held in place by a lock screw.

As for where I got it I bought it used, but pro team products still makes them(It is a universal 7/8 inch powerfeed). You might be able to find one If you are going to Skyball if you are close enough.
