    Emag and ULT

I know I know, AGD says don't do it, but I try to use mech mode when I'm playing with new people as to try to keep myself from spanking them. but it bugs me that the trigger is so heavy in mech mode. Is there anyway to tune my Emag to use the ULT without it going crazy in electro mode? Any advice or recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Would this be more appropriate in tech talk?

I don't know anything about emag software, but does it have a bps cap you can lower?

if you were only running mech mode, you should have been fine however you rult's activity sounds odd.

use your emag on semi maybe. That will have a light pull, and you wont "spanK" your opponents. your emag will not work in emode with a ult.

I personally only use semi with my xmag. I try to not take extra balls/pods out. That usually helps level playing fields.

Maybe I should clarify- I do not have ULT right now, I was thinking about getting one to make my mech mode a little more fun to play with, but I was worried about trying to use ULT with my electro mode. I guess I could always get a ULT and swap it out between mech and electro mode...

Anyway, I only use semi in electro mode, but I can rip a TON faster with the shorter and softer trigger pull in electro. I appreciate all advice so far!

Here's a great excuse to build a new pneumag!!!!!

*edit* or at least a new ult'd mag

I don't quite understand... you want to play with newbies so you are using the mechanical mode so why would it bother you if the trigger pull is a bit heavy? I think you are doing to lower the ROF? If you want a light trigger pull just keep it in electronic mode.

The ULT can't be used with an emag because there won't be enough pressure to reset the sear.

The ULT won't work in electro mode or in mechanical mode for the same reasons. The solenoid plunger assembly is too heavy for the ULT to reliably push back into a reset position.

Even in mechanical mode, the trigger pull shouldn't be too heavy on an emag. If it is excessively heavy, it is possible that you have a slightly bent plunger assembly.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

                      I second Athomas

the Electronics cause too much resistance for a ult to reset the sear, (get an E-mag on/off) if you really want that kind of gun,
Athomas said it in less words, Im sayin I agree with him (im an enectrical engineer, trust me he's right).
Just cap your e-mag's board at like 8bps... then you can have a light trigger and shoot fast w/ no chuffing ever. If you are usto the E-trigger you will chuff the on/off& bolt alot...
Cap yer board if you want to shoot newbs..
or do what I do. shoot once, not 5 times. if you are "truely" good 1 shot 1 kill...
I have a custom made EP spydermag yes EP not E and I just do single shots on newbs, find me a tourny player like myself, then its trigger time
                      my opinion..
