Micro LVL 10 Retro valve wont shoot

If you took the valve apart, you probably didn't screw in the velocity nut back to where it used to be. Turn the tank reg up to like 800 or so, then keep turning your velocity up until the gun fires. Don't do what I did. I kept the tank reg pressure low, then forgot, and tightened the velocity nut all the way. It was very hard to unscrew of course and I stripped the 1/8" allen key hole. So make sure you have your tank pressure up to something normal before you go turning up your velocity. -
When you're not pulling the trigger, is there a small space between the trigger rod and the back of the trigger? If not, the sear is not releasing the bolt and you need to adjust your trigger rod.Comment

When going from a level 7 to a level 10, you need to turn up the velocity a LOT. The level 10 bolt setup needs a lot more pressure to fire.
Use the shortest bolt spring (gold) and no shims until you have her set up also.
Quick Level 10 tuning:
Follow these steps in order.
1. Break in carrier o-ring with 1000 shots in carrier #2 (2 lines, no dots on side of carrier).
2. Move broken-in white carrier o-ring to largest carrier that does not leak.
3. If bolt sticks on squeegy test, add shims until it resets reliably.
4. Chrono marker to field speed. (this is important, don't just do it by sound)
5. If gun breaks paint (test with no loader and make an electrical tape string for paintball to hang only halfway in breach) use a longer mainspring (on the contrary, if bolt continuously "LVL 10's" or "chuffs" use a shorter mainspring).Comment

There should also be dots on some of your carriers.
Line = full size
Dot = half size
So, 1 line 1 dot is a 1.5 sized carrier.
You want the largest carrier that doesn't leak.Comment

Thanks for helping me on this guys.

I remember seeing a pix of the carriers and their descriptions somewhere

There is your problem. The sear rod is too long and is preventing the on-off from opening to allow the front air chamber to recharge. Shorten the sear rod so that it almost touches the back of the trigger when aired up.

With the marker aired up and the safety on, there should be a 1/16th" gap between the back of the trigger and the sear rod (about the thickness of a credit card).
Will it shoot now?Comment

lol I'm the last one in my office (lunch) i just pulled the trigger- ya it works!!! I'm going to go bunker the receptionist when she gets back... I ended up taking the LvL 10 off to eliminate any extra issues. I than shortened the trigger rod a few turns. Now that it is working I need start on the LvL 10 next. If I have any LvL 10 issues I'll post them in the LvL sticky. Thanks guys?
