    TAC ONE ball detents

All - Last weekend, about 1/2 way through a scenario game, my marker started double feeding/shooting. I realized (the following day) my ball detent was gone. It must have worked its way out in the middle of the day.

Can someone point me to the correct replacement part? I did a little searching around, but I can't seem to find a ball detent specifically for a TAC ONE.

    Thanks in advance.

Congrats on getting your first Automag! You're hooked now!

You can order Automag detends over at the Mag Smith: http://themagsmith.com/store/index.p...d&productId=67

There is also Tunamart and PBLoverz that carries Automag parts such as detents.

Tac-one use an angel detent so any of the angel detent will work.

I search and i search but so far i only found 3 type:

      stock angel
      killa magnetic
      and i believe cp?

To side track a little bit, is the killa detent really worth it? for a double detent mag, it's gonna be 40 bucks ?

I love Kila detents, I have them on 3 different guns
the fact that they are rebuildable, and adjustable force is what sold me

            Blue loctite!

Don't try to screw the detent down to keep it in. Screw it in or out to adjust it and let some thread locker keep it there. They vibrate loose and if you keep tightening it you can drag on the bolt and wear the detent out very fast.

I have one kila. That's why I had to work out the adjustment.
I think they are a fair price. A pair of cheap spring detents are probably about as good (will last as long) as one kila. Something like that.

I didn't loose the part the screws in, just the little rubbery part on the inside.

I figure it's a good opportunity for me to get a nice red or silver detent though (the piece that screws in too).
