i swear, thats never happened before,

so i bought a lx kit from someone here on AO, brand new. i go and install it per the airgun.com directions and i gas it up, its venting out the back but i want to see if it will shoot anyway. guess what happens when i pull the trigger, nothing, so i turn up the velocity slightly and pull the trigger. I thought i shot out my foamie on the first try. i said to myself "damn, thats easier to do than i thought". heres what came out the barrel.

my question to you AO is what do i do now?

also my powertube is removable, is there supposed to be anything in here?

Well. . . holy crap. For fixing the bolt, I would call AGD and have them replace it.
For fixing your gun. . . Do you still have your L7 bolt? If so, put it in there and air your gun up AFTER backing out your velocity nut.
Does your trigger rod touch the back of your trigger when the trigger is fully forward?

And your powertube just screws out? When you screw it back in, loctite it.

That is just the dump chamber, empty is good. A removable power tube is handy for 12g pump mag mods, but you should check the tech threads on loctite for them (or not?). I think I've read at least one instance where it came loose by itself.

I guess the bolt part must be a press fit. I forgot the stem was even a separate part, not that I thought it was all machined from one piece (AGD isn't that good). You would have to know why it came out in the first place or take some good measurements to have a clue of whether it's going to stay in there when you put it back.

Did you have the bolt bumper in place and decent fit to start with? Is this a plain AIR valve or a field rental?

There is a special o-ring that goes on the the power tube threads. That power tube is not suppose to come off. When you call AGD they will tell you to send it in to get it fixed since they are the only ones who have the oring.

nifty. atleast you wern't in play when you shot most of your lvl 10 out your barrel.

i think i would keep it and just buy a new lvl 10. put that one on your shelf as your "close call"

              did you scratch your barrel?

it was just a stock emag barrel, in a pf body. nothing i was going to use anyway. just trying to get everything set up for when my other parts get back from the anodizer.

also it was a minimag valve, i know lx doesnt work in field rentals.

i was hoping tom would come by and explain everything.

i'm going to send agd an email later.

The power tube is a an easy fix. There is a red oring there, replace it, and reinstall the power tube with a generous amount of red loctite. It should screw right back on.

The lvl 10 bolts are silver soldered together if im not mistaken. Your pretty much beat on that one. Call AGD, MAYBE they will replace it, but more than likely you will have to purchase a new one.

my oring is black, all i have is blue locktite. i tried to email agd at the only address i could find, [email protected], and i got an error that its not an address.

i'm going to call them tomorrow. the guy i bought it from is going to make right if agd wont. so i'm only out shipping really, i think i'll buy one from action village if this doesnt work out.
