Okay, so I bought some E-mag lowers, and I'm having trouble all of a sudden. I'm using the same body and valve I was before, the lowers and rail are the only change. The lowers work fine, but when I gas it up and fire the gun (In E or M), the thing starts leaking down the barrel or burps until I shut off the air. After I ran outta air, I realized that FIX (I have XMOD installed) was at 17...I bumped it up to 50, but I'm out of air and can't test it. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

.712 IIRC just because every thing worked well with one set up doesn't mean it will with another , start with your simple stuff lube your valve , make sure your field strip isn't too tight , does it FEEL right when you assemble it ?Originally posted by trevorjkhmm probably wont fix your issue, but did you change the on/off pin? the emag lowers require the .725 pin if i recall correctly where as the standard pin for an xvalve is .750

Okay, I've had three people say it's the on/off pin so far...I had a suspicion that's what it was. Maniac, I think I'm gonna go into my pro shop where I'll have access to tools and air then call you this evening. I don't know if I have the correct pin. I'll need to get some calipers and check.

not to jack your thread, but what does dwell do on a mag? i got my lowers back from modmymag.com for a software update and i was like what the hell.

i believe that dwell on the xmod is how long the plunger will be pushing the sear out (or pushing the pin in, whatever makes more sense).
dwell on other marker solenoids is basically how long to keep the valve open and letting air out. FSDO (first shot drop off) is from the bolt sticking (being in static for long periods) so usually, to fix this, the dwell is longer, meaning more air comes out during the first shot.
edit:
usually the lower the dwell, the more air efficient a marker becomes. it differs on every marker as well. i know a timmy has some rediculous dwell with a running pressure of 50psi... crazy.

FIX is 50...Dwell is 15.
The valve is off a Pneu-mag. I replaced the ULT with a standard RT on/off. I will know soon what pin I have.
