    i have a qustion about the micromag feedneck

    i have a qustion about the micromag feedneck. can you take the feed neck off and replace it with an aftermarket feedneck if so what type of threads is it

    unless it is a centerfeed ule or tac body (which use angel threaded feednecks) you cant change feednecks on an automag. the #1 reason being that if it's a stock micromag with a ss body that thing is welded on there and your not going to get it off with a hammer if you tried.

      he is not talking about a minimag. ^^

      Some micromag vert bodies are autococker threaded. You can remove them and put a clamping feedneck on them (I have 2 of these bodies). Most vert micromag bodies are not threaded tho. The feednecks are pressed in. You can un press them, and fit a cut down feedneck back into the place of the previous one. I dont suggest doing so unless you know what you are doing.
