AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I was wondering if the powerfeed was cut down would it mess with your feed time? Or will it tend to chop more becuase of incorrect spacing/ distance? Thank for reading my dumb question and hope someone has an answer
I dont know if it will cause problems if you cut it down but I'd be careful cutting it as they are not that hard to break off , I know this from first hand experience
I think if you cut off the size of a single paintball it shouldn't mess up anything with feed. I remember doing a rough hackjob on a powerfeed when warp feeds first came out and we totally eyeballed the measurements of a paintball and did it. Never had an issue, just make sure you deburr the inside/outside/etc so as not to allow anything to catch/snag the paint.
My Trader Feedback It was the only tournament I've been to where they have more cases of beer than paint. - gimp
Feed tube length isn't what matters, it's the 90 degree bend where the feed tube meets the body--it has to be spaced so only one ball is in the breach, and one directly above it. My feed tube has been cut so that the elbow is closer (in fact touches) the mainbody and I have no feed issues.
