    Ult not working

Okay i just bought a used Xvalve and it came witha ULT on/off. When i gas it up the ult will not work for some reason. I know its the on off because i took it out and tried another ULT and an RT on/off and the valve works just fine. i tried no shimes and added up to six shims one by one and no luck. I even change all the O-rings on the ULT. The only thing I can think of is the pin is bent. Any other Ideas??? Also as for as the Level 10 goes, what do the shims do?? I forgot. Thanks.

well to answer your level 10 question... the shims affect where the air is released in the travel of the bolt and controls the chopping and how far the bolt goes before it fully accelerates.

now... the pin could be bent in the ULT

you said you have another ULT on/off? if this is the case try switching out the pins and see if the pin from the other one will make the new ULT work

if not then i suggest taking a picture of the on/off so we can see it and see if any o-rings are missing or if there are any problems with it

let us know how it goes, goodluck

Level 10 shims do not affect chopping. Adding level 10 shims shortens the distance that the bolt needs to travel before it can vent air. In the event of a breach block, due to the short distance, the bolt will generally travel the required distance even without any shims installed.

Bigtrucker: You can check for a bent pin by putting it on a piece of glass and rolling it around. If it wobbles, it is bent.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

        pin

ULT pin's bend pretty easily, and ig other ULT ON/OFF work and the RT ON/OFF works, I think the only logical problem is the pin.. Especialy since you have tried o-rings, and other on/off's
