My gun simply wont fire>> Help

Alright iam in a pickel here. This is my first mag.. I have a twist lock automag rt with a lvl 10 bolt... I gas the thing up. It pushes out the trigger.. I go to pull the trigger and i got nothin!! Not really sure what to do.. I pulled the on off and everything looks fine.. even replaced all 3 o rings. (the one in the bottom where the fat part of the pin is, the little o ring that inside of the on off, then the one that was above it) can someone let me know if iam doing something wrong... Oh and while iam feeling like a retard which way on the velocity adjuster increases pressure... Thanks for all your help guys

Try these 3 things first.

-Make sure your field strip screw (rear round head screw) isn't too tight.
-Increase velocity (by turning it in) until it fires.
-Be sure your tank has enough air.

Could be 1 of 4 things...

1.) Your carrier and oring aren't sized correctly and are too tight In the level 10 setup

2.)your velocity is too low for the spring you have in there try to max the pressure out by turning the velocity knob to the right all the way.

3.)your sear and on/off pin aren't aligning properly and the sear must be adjusted

4.)your gun just hates you and wants you to give it to me for free :-p jk on that one


But in all honesty I believe it is the first 1... try a larger size carrier and oring combo until it leaks and if it leaks and still won't fire then I bet its the sear

probably wont keep it from firing but make sure your running a high pressure tank. other than that i would say check the carrier too. and bring up the velocity if your using a long bolt spring and the velocity is too low that could do it. good luck with it.

this happened on the field yesterday, he had a classic valve. the on/off was missing orings and the top part of it. not too familiar with classic rt so dunno. but check on the on/off

I will go with:

-Velocity is too low (doughtful)
-lvlx carrier too tight (best bet)
-Bolt spring too tight (try using a shorter one)

If it pushes the trigger back when you air it up, chances are, your carrier is too tight. If your velocity would be too low, there wouldn't be enough pressure to push the trigger on the initial air up.

To raise the velocity (pressure), turn clockwise on the back of the valve.

As stated above try adjusting the carrier and the velocity, and since this wasn't said and bears mentioning with all mags LUBE mags love lube!

I had a similiar problem with my new tac 1. So the first , second and third thing I checked was the thumb screw. that was plenty loose. Then the front frame screw. Not to tight.Talked to a bunch of guys that used to run mags before they were sponsered by angel. They suggested TIGHTENING the thumb screw since nothing else worked. I actually snugged it with a allen wrench. Now when I hit the sweet spot people turn and ask "what in the hell is THAT?"
