    Modding the classic on/off?

    Hi,

I got a nearly new (my first one) Classic Automag with the classic brass on/off. Does it make sense to mod that brass on/off to increase the air flow and to avoid drop off on higher ROF?

Mine looks similar to the second in front of the picture. I would mod it to look like the third or fourth.

Which ROF could be possible with such an on/off in a classic Mag with classiv valve?

Using a 850psi preset and would like to convert my mag into a pneu or epneu.

    Thanks from Germany,
    Jakob

    Jakob,
    (1) What you have is fine.
    (2) a pneumag is a pneumatically operated sear trip instead of a electronic solenoid sear trip.

If you wanted a light crisp pull in a classic valve you can go with an RT on/off .750 pin and a quad o-ring.

      Thanks for the quick reply.

I have a small electric Festo solenoid (similar to the wellknown SMC), a Clippart actor, CCM 2003 Shocker Ripframe, fancy T-Board and a Palmer LPR. Thats the stuff for my conversion.

Sadly AGD Parts ar very rare and/or very expensive here in Germany. Pretty hard to get a RT on/off or a whole XValve. So I would like to know, if it makes sense building an eMag with a modded stock on/off (and probably a modded pin) and how fast (bps) such a Mag could be.

I did one of the conversions on a friends gun. Can't hurt to try it if you are good with tools.
