AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
i was wondering if there is a way to get an ace to work with a hyperframe with either a utb or the stock 20 bps board, and if so how much work would it be. plug and play or som soldering and such.
i havent bought an ace board or had the milling done yet im asking this here to be sure that it will be worth the money because the only electronic mag i have is a hypermag.
Im 99% sure that you can rig an ACE to work with a UTB. The board is designed to work with just about anything. BUT, why would you go through all that trouble? Especially for a hyperframe, which are troublesome on their own.
well i havent had any problems with my hyperframe yet and just really like how it feels and have always liked the idea of having eyes without messing up the flow of a marker.
You could probably install a scenario dreams universal tboard in your hyperframe, those are compatible with eyes. I emailed them about this recently. $55 for the tboard, if you want them to install the tboard that $35. Eyes are like $10 or $15, I didn't ask them about installing the yes though, figured I could proablably handle that myself.
I have a 13 bps hyperframe, not so worried about the resale value cause I don't plan on selling it since I like it. So I may go this route in the future when I get a little more dough.
