Hello all

Hey, new to the forum,i picked up a dusty minimag from someones garage sale, and after browsing youtube, most notably the bukkakemag video, and wanted to upgrade and update my mag.
from research ive done an X-valve, ULE upgrade and a lvl 10 bolt are the only upgrades available. the mag i got already has the magic box upgrade.

any suggestions before i start ordering parts?

To get the most bang for your buck, upgrade the valve first. That will give you the most savings in weight while increasing rof, and if you go through AGD you'll get the lvl 10 in the process. Just remember the x valve cannot be reliable run on co2.

I know the magic box dose nothing, but I really want one to be weird. When you get your X-Valve you won't use it anyways.

Nice find for that. Go out and shoot it some. You may find you like it just the way it is. The magic box does nothing but add weight, but not like it really hurts anything either.

acutally ur wrong the magic box lets you "cook" co2 for cheating to get hotter shots so its bad take it off if a ref knows and sees you do it they toss you off the field for shooting a hot marker on purpose be carefull please

I thought the magic box was nothing more than an expansion chamber...

Like punkncat says Smoove, shoot it a while and consider what you don't like about it first. Then total up all the upgrades you want on that marker and see what it will cost. Some times people want enough in upgrades to justify an entire new marker. Then you will have the beginning of a mag collection.

If you go X-valve or RT, add in an HPA system. If you upgrade the rate of fire beyond a classic valve with a single trigger, you'll want a fast loader. The difference in play can then be so big that it doesn't feel like your old mag anymore.

Nice find for 10$, I have always loved how that stock looks. Try it out the way it is, i'm sure you will love it just like that. And yeah, the magic box is basicly just a small expansion chamber
