    asa and gauge?

i have a wuick question... i got the brilliant idea to attach a gauge to my asa by taking out the plug on the opposite side and i put a gauge in it now. I figure this will allow me to get an accurate reading of the input pressure of the tank i have because i just swapped out the springs in my myth and am curious as to its pressure now.

My question is, will this do any damage to my asa? can i leave it like this permanently? Will it ever do any harm or slow down my recharge rate by using up air?

I dont want to lose any performance but at the same time i think its really functional to be there.

Performance-wise, there's no real difference from a plug. Go for it.

Lots of people don't like gauges all over their markers, but I kind of like the industrial look and the extra diagnostic info.

the gage doesn't use up air, it just measures the pressure of the air pushing against it. i'd say go for it, i personally like the look of gages, and also knowing input pressure is good for estimations and such.
