Air setup and longbow considerations on the AGD Tac-one

I am seriously considering buying the Tac-one and I need two things answered above all else:

    1. Where are the points on the gun that I have to attach the air supply to. I have seen the basic bottomline setup plenty, but since the gun does not have an integrated stabilizer I assume I could attach the line elsewhere?

    2. The Airgun Designs online store says that the longbow ready Tac-one is available again. Is this just a leftover that was overlooked or was the frame changed back to being longbow acceptable?

the new tacrail was the issue (no screws like the old rt had in the middle) not the frame fyi www.putfile.com/sumthinwicked for my 2 setups one off the frame and an asa off the specops shroud

The marker does have a built-in stabilizer, it's in the valve itself. With the air input being on the valve, you could either run the macro/braided line gripmount or remote

The 'Longbow-ready' Tac-One is actually just the rail itself that has 3 screw holes on each side.

Oh, and not to discourage you, but the Longbow shroud is a waste of money, IMO. It's pretty, but all it does is DOUBLE the weight of your marker and hinder access to the velocity screw. You could get the same performance at a fraction of the price with a Special Ops T2W stock and a Tac-One

Yeah but try and remove the valve in under 15 seconds with that Longbow shroud and you're screwed.... oh wait, no... You need to remove all six screws and the thumb screw to get the valve out.... your screwed six times...

Sorry Sumthinwicked, you are right, different strokes for different folks. I just see the majority of users not liking the Longbow and yes I have owned one, but not anymore.... A nice light weight stock works better than any longbow kit. Does a Longbow kit look cool, YES but in the end are we here for a fashion shoot or a turkey shoot, does it help you on the PB field.... no more than the type of barrel sock you chose....

A new user to AGD should get a well rounded view of what they are getting before then spend over $500 bills on a marker. The longbow to me is an over hyped add on, made by a company that is building a religion, A limited edition, they are now accepting callers for these pendant key chains. (sorry bout the Cake reference )

Don't take my word for it, buy one, and I bet within 3-6 months you'll be here in the BST or eBay trying to unload the Longbow kit... The good news, you'll keep the Tac-One and you will have contracted the AGD virus... that's what happened to me, and look at me now I've never been better

Not my current setup but gives you an idea of what can be done.

Yeah, I know, I was just trying to find a way to mount a stock onto the back without using the stock attachments that must be attached to the bottom of the handgrip. I wasn't even planning on putting the longbow or q loader on anyway.

If you guys just reccomend a good ol' pump style stock, or one of the longbow stocks that stretches up from the trigger-grip to in behind the X-valve just say so.

drill out the holes in the back of the rail and get a backbottle asa and a tstock that screws into it and a regular duckbill off of your frame

That's actually a pretty good idea. THere was this guy over at the Qloader forums that had a CAR stock installed directly on the velocity screw. It looks great, but I don't have a clue how he installed it, check it out:
