    A newcomers question...

    Hi all!

A nutty swede here reacently going back in to the sport.
Played a lot back in the early days here in sweden when the semis wasn't even allowed by law!

Of course a lot of the guys around here got semis from the US and the dream started back then.

A couple of weeks ago I was on a bachelor party and we went to play paintball just for fun and I'll be damned. The "rush" hit me with the same force as back in -91 when I started playing.

My first thought was that I have to start again!
So I did and I wanted the best of them all! The automag!!!!!!

Got hold of one over here in sweden.
Now I want some help from you guys with hell lot of more experience with these markers than I have.

Wich year was my marker created and what type is it?
I figured out that it must be an ol' Classic 68 but I don't recognize the hopper mount.

I would appreciate this a lot!
Take good care of both yourselfs as well as of your Automags!

    Sincerley.

Hope to find the creationdate for it as well.
Do you know anyone here on the forum that maybe knows?
      Maybe by the serialnumber?

      Thanx again and take care!

        welcome back
As far as a production date ?? the only thing you can reference is the SN# on the valve , that one looks to be a pretty low/medium # i've seen them in the 65000 range
do yourself a favor & put you a quick disconnect at the valve , makes it much simpler to tear down & clean
        Sweden ?? hmm blondes?

          Thanx for the input maniacmechanic!

So what you say is that even Airgun Designs couldn't answer such a question?
Since I'm new to this forum maybe you could direct me to wich or who I should talk to about this. That would mean a lot to me!

          About the blond stuff......?
          Are you kidding or what?
The Finnish are the blond ones, the norweigian are the reds and finaly the swedes....pure gold!!! HA HA HA!!

Take good care maniacmechanic and thanx for the help!

Does your Valve say "Classic" or just "68 Automag"? With that Serial number, it's look like you have the 68 Automag not the Classic, Classic is the newer model after the 68 Automag.
I have the "68 Automag" Valve with Serial # CF17971

              It says 68 Automag!

I suppose that it must be one of the older mags right?

              Cool with the serialnumber there.
They must have been made the same quarter at least!

              Thanx for the input TeamJackal37!

That serial number is probably a 1993 vintage 68 Automag.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

                  15 years then huh!
                  Cool stuff.

Then one must say that automags are a splendid marker no doubt about it!
Working like a clock an no leakage after 15 years... damn that's good!

                  Thanx athomas for the help!

Anybody knows if there's someone here on the forum that sells used equipment over seas?

I'll put down an ad in the right place though.
                  Always wanted a minimag!

Take good care all and again, thanx sincerley!
