    3 second leak.

so heres my situation. I have gone through everything with my Automag and been to hell and back, when I had everything working I took it out for the first day, And im saying to god that he should get one of these.

Anyways, I also purchused the ULT trigger pull kit to go with my level ten and Xvalve.
so reading some instructions and some online questions I assembled it.
I put the starting 2 shims inside, lots of stick,
    -3 shims: lots of stick
-4 shims: not to much, getting better
-5 shims: looking good, But i want that auto effect so I know Im at the right shim.
-6 shims: really nice trigger pull, hopefully The next one double fires, so I can stay at 6
-7 shims: geeze still no auto effect or double fire. guess im going up one.
-8 shims: well, no double fire, the trigger is really nice, no bolt stick.

But when I hold down the trigger the on/off leaks for about 2-3 seconds then seals itself.
does this mean I have to buy more shims?

Can i use extra level ten shims?
I was told that a level ten shim is 2x the thickness of a ULT shim, so I go to seven ULT shims and one level ten shim, effectivly creating 9 shims total.

Does this seem like alot of shims to you guys??

I want to be sure im doing this right.

The leak is a level 10 one caused by the bolt vent hole being too close to the carrier oring. Remove a level 10 shim or two from your powertube and it should help.

You can use a level 10 shim in place of 2 ULT shims. It does seem like you have alot of shims in your setup, but if it works go for it. Each setup has tiny tolerance differences which is why we have shims to start with.

The ULT is designed to reduce the retro effect. You may not get the effect you are looking for without increasing the pressure coming from the tank.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Alright I have two level ten shims in right now, so i'll remove one. ( inside my power tube )

And yea lol, it does seem like I have alot of shims. but the manuel says I should go up untill I auto or burst shot it with one pull, then remove one shim.
      Im not looking for 25BPS.

Im just looking for a 15 once trigger pull. ( without any leaks.)

Whats your input pressure, what kind of tank are you using? The ability to rapid fire is two part. The gun should be setup for it, and more importantly you've gotta have the necessary flow and line pressure. You don't need an adjustable but it sure does help. With some presets you can shim them to increase the pressure.

          my airline setup is
          900PSI output pressure.

also im using macroline in the "C" pattern instead of going through the gas through grip.
im using a Pure Energy 68/4500 carbon fibur tank. ( not to be mistaken with fiber wrap )
          with a dangerous Power R.A.P.S. on/off ASA.

it seems to be working now.
          so Im fine.
if worse comes to worse I put my stock on/off pin in the valve and come back to 2 shims inside the power tube.

I have a hunch people think that im trying to push 25-30BPS +
well im not... like I stated before im only looking for a 15 once trigger pull.
Nothing: Zack - ???? ( saw that guys video on you tube...stupid fast.)
          it was like what 34BPS...

Also... Is it bad that I dont have as many shims in the ULT as i can fit before it double or autofires?

I know putting to many shims can hurt it, but can putting to many less do anything bad?

And finally, after a couple days of play with it. I have noticed a buildup of grease on the mainspring. should I continue to clean it after every game ( which i usually do... Im pretty anal with keeping my stuff maintained.)
or should I leave it on?

I still drop the 6 drops of autolube into my Air fitting right before I air it up to play... I heard that if oil gets into your HPA regulaor thats very bad. like deathly bad. so I skip the ASA and just put it into my air fitting ( macroline ) and just proceed to air it up and dry fire it a couple times.
